A friend was concerned about her friend being bothered by Demons...

Demons exist only on the mental and astral planes in an incorporeal state. They are thought forms imbued with enough energy to continue on for a while until they find an unsuspecting individual to feed off. They plague the uneducated mind, the hopeless romantic and those who find the battle nourishing to their ego's sense of self.  Demons are powerless in this world, they have no strength of their own, no willpower of their own, and they usurp the will of unwitting human beings essentially tricking them into compliance with their designs. Pretending to be powerful, they are anything but; they are so weak a child can banish them. The weakest of human minds can expel the most powerful demon with a simple prayer, just by realizing how much more powerful and majestic his will is over the Demon's. Demons are not evil, just parasitic, and a waist of energy and time. If your friend really wants the demon to go, tell him to banish it with a prayer and deal with whatever it is in his personality that attracted it in the first place so that he doesn't invite it back again. Those books he reads are not real, they are just stories someone made up, tell him to stop believing them and if he can't then stop reading them. At the very center of everything is a spark of divine light, imagine that you see this divine light that is at the core of the demon as you pray for your friend, see it expanding and growing, transforming the demon into an angel of magnificent beauty and immense divine light then release it into the light at the center of all that is.

A friend asked about how to stop suffering...

How do we stop the suffering of humanity through the ages?  ...  We create no more suffering ... Now. We can do nothing to alleviate the suffering of those who suffered in the past.  Those sufferings have been spent, now is when we can make a difference. Now is when we can choose to suffer and continue the cycle of pain or to free ourselves from this cycle by deciding to be completely Present in this perfect moment. Repeat with me now... I choose to be here now...to know the perfection of this moment, completely, without reservation... I am free... I am light ... I am compassion... I am Unconditionally Alive and In Love with All That Is... The past is gone... Now is all that exists... I Am That I Am... Be Still and Know.

A Conversation about Dreams and Goals

Thank you for your response to my post. I respect that your mind understands that there is truth in what I wrote. I recognize your dream, I have met others with very similar dreams and it is inspired by the most noble of intentions. I understand what you mean by moving forward at your own pace and your own time but time as you understand it is not the answer, it is the obstacle. I also recognize the fear that if you were to fully accept the truth of my words and relax into total acceptance of what is in your life now that you would somehow lose your dream. That in losing your dream you would lose your drive to move forward towards your goal of a haven for other souls in desperate need. This fear that you could somehow lose your dream by accepting what is now is your ego misdirecting your mind out of the fear of your awareness being freed from its attachment. The way you think of your dream represents your egos control over your life; it is so tied up with future events that you are afraid that if you relax and allow yourself to accept right now, with all of its glory; you will let go of your dream. Your ego would have you believe that you can accept only parts of the truth until some far off future date when the now catches up to the dream. Your ego would have you believe that there must be a struggle to manifest this dream, that you must dissect and isolate your mind from your deepest knowing in order to keep moving forward. Your dream was inspired by your deepest knowing, why would you lose it? Your dream was seized upon by your ego identified mind and developed into an elaborate plan that excludes your being truly free and at peace. In fact your egos plan will include you never being free or at peace whether your dream is eventually manifested or not. The best way to allow your dream to manifest is to fully accept where you are right now. In so doing your awareness of what is already here will empower you to manifest everything you need to ease the suffering of others and empower them to live full and rewarding lives.

The ego identified mind promotes the fear that if you fully accept the now you will somehow stop living your life or moving towards goals and become apathetic, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, goals are achieved much easier and more fully because we are at peace and in love with every step and everyone along the way. In fully relaxing into where, when and who you are right now you lose nothing but gain so much more than you will currently allow yourself to know.

On Believing

.
Belief is a function of the mind. The mind must explain all things or it becomes restless. In order for a belief to be "good", it must satisfactorily explain whatever the belief is about to the little me that the ego thinks you are. It need have nothing to do with truth, except that the mind may substitute the belief for the truth.  Until our awareness expands to encompass the existence of  Spirit,  we think of it as belief or superstition. There are many of us who experience the expanded consciousness of the Spiritual realm at least some of the time.  A few of us, experience it all of the time, in fact our experience goes beyond Spirit to the Source of All. After a point in our consciousness development, belief, no matter how close to the truth, functions as a tool of the mind to keep us from direct experience of  knowing truth.  Knowing truth is a function of expanded consciousness,  it has nothing to do with any belief whatsoever, even the belief in expanded consciousness. The belief in something is not the thing itself.  Direct experience is always the cure for misunderstanding, until one reverts to ones previous level of awareness ( which happens often).  When we try to explain the unexplainable we find ourselves in a mire of mind made concepts. Let it go. You do not have to believe in your hand , you experience it's existence every  moment and so you know it exists.  As our awareness continues to expand throughout our lives, we drop our beliefs and become one in knowing our true Spiritual nature.  We can not accelerate this process, our consciousness is where it is. You will know when you know, until then,  relax, suspend your beliefs and explore what you know here and now.
