We will recognize who we are and all that we are... subsiquently collapsing into an hysterical fit of loving laughter

As individuals on a spritual path we become way too serious, placing too much importance on behaviors and form or style. So much so that many miss the subtle truth. We are what we are and we will always be what we are. The only difference between one who is considered a spiritual person and one who is not is their current focus of attention. That is all, they are not of different worth, they are exactly the same consciousness focusing on different aspects of self.

We are pure consciousness, everthing else we have made.

I Am this now. That is all there is all the rest is just the focusing or expanding of my attention. There may come a time when I tire of this and move on until then I will be where I am in Joy and Love with all that is here with me now.

Soulmates

I have found that the question of soulmates comes up a lot when we are just beginning the first stirrings of our spiritual awakening. When one has experienced glimpses of the world in it's true "spiritual" nature, the mind uses those glimpses to create a longing or searching for a restoration of the feelings of deep all encompassing peace and love that were experienced in that moment. I have also found that rather than focusing on trying to find those feelings outside of oneself either in space or time, we do better to nurture the inner experience of recognition of the source of these feelings existing within our own being. When we recognize the source as within ourselves, all beings are our soulmates as we recognize that we all truly are one consciousness.

Religon and rules of behavior...

All the religious rules you hear about are social/cultural in nature and are misinterpreted as spiritual by those who are not aware of the innate spiritual nature of all beings. If you look at the roots of all religions they are founded on truth, usually expressed by one or a line of spiritual teachers. Many are grounded in cultural myths and legends each carrying seeds of truth. All religions are paths to finding your spiritual nature, they in themselves, are social/ cultural institutions. The human ego takes the power out of our spiritual nature by telling us that we need to do or not do certain things, become "more perfect" on the outside in order to become "spiritual" or more pleasing to God. These are rules invented by egos who needed to have power over others in the mundane world. It is part of our tribal heritage. There are no set rules to your true spirituality except that it is here and now, eternally just here and now.

Stop looking outside of yourself...

You are the Love and Peace that you seek, turn around and see who you are. No words can express your Grace, Wisdom and Power.

I am not my pain...

There is always another way, we each choose in this moment. We can accept what is now and allow it. We don't have to mentally go through every little detail of our pain, both past and present, to connect with the truth of who we are. The egoic mind would have us think that, though, because then the pain can continue. We can decide to just be where we are and stop resisting what has happened to us, then the pain will dissolve and the love remains. The problems begin when the egoic mind becomes the imagined "self" we wish to heal. When I accept that I am not this body of pain that I have held onto through the years as defining who I am I am free to explore my true nature. This takes no time, it happens now.

Everyone and everything is a mirror for us to learn from...

These sorts of statements were first uttered for a particular audience that shared a particular background understanding of the context of the statement. They are then repeated without the context which existed to clarify them. This statement is true when it is first known that all human beings are capable of all the things that human beings do, IF they are functioning at the same level of awareness within which these actions occur.  When you were a child  you did things that your more expanded level of awareness now, would not consider. As our consciousness expands and larger and larger portions of the universe are included in our awareness, we become incapable of reacting to our environment in the same manner as we would have before. We do, however, retain the previous levels of awareness within our consciousness as the foundation of the larger awareness. If you see something that someone does as evil, chances are someone with a more expanded level of consciousness will see it as just plain unavoidable given the level of awareness of the "evil doer". If you see a victim and a perpetrator, chances are someone with a more expanded level of awareness will see two sides to the dance of a limited level of awareness playing itself out. This does not infer in the slightest that intervention is abandoned, when these situations are noticed, there is always the opportunity for growth and the communication of a deeper understanding.

The corruption of truth...

This is a basic realization of Spirit, you have recognized the corruption of the conceptual mind. All of these religions started with the realization of Truth, that was then seized upon by the ego identified, conceptual mind in an attempt to translate the original experience of Truth to those who are not experiencing it. It is a universal unconscious activity of the mind to work in this way. The Truth is lost in the small workings of the conceptual mind. The mind just simply , because it is of the world of form, is too limited to grasp the immensity of Spiritual Truth.  Just as the mind can not encompass the nature of a paradox such as Spirit existing only within, And everywhere Now, it reduces everything to flat, diagrams of truth which have nothing to do with the original Truth they are intended to describe. Then it is taught, analyzed, dissected and reduced to nothing. The  same is true for an individual who has an experience of Truth, after the experience is over. The conceptual mind again takes over starting the process of excitedly translating the untranslatable to the world of the ego identified mind. That is until the next experience of Truth. It is the cycle of the unawakened stirring within the dream and perhaps beginning the individual process of awakening.

Achieving peace, serenity and balance...

If you are trying to achieve peace, serenity or balance, because you perceive it is not available to you now, you are not Present, fully accepting the reality of what is. Action is only effective if it is purposeful and it is only purposeful if is motivated through Spirit or Presence. It is always in your best interest to be still and allow Spirit to direct your actions. Trying to achieve serenity, peace or balance is an oxymoron. How can you achieve what is always yours, eternally now? Maybe what you are referring to is the perception of peace, serenity and balance. Riding the waves of life is ok as long as we do not also project our minds out into the future waiting to attain that which resides within ourselves

Letting go is not giving up, it is allowing what is to be what it is without resistance of any kind. This is not a place of submission but rather a claiming of one's true power. When we accept what is, we also accept our ability to move into the next moment free of our limiting beliefs about what should be or what we want or desire. This freedom is our true power, true power is always about our ability to live as a clear expression of the Divine. Happiness is a hollow reflection of the Joy that you are. As long as you seek happiness through resistance of what is, you will not experience the Joy that you are.

The effect of believing in death...

Whether we believe in death or not has no effect on what it is. Belief is a game of the mind that keeps us identified with the ego and prevents us from taking in clear, undistorted information on what is. When we hold onto a belief and set out to support it or disprove it we become selective about the information we allow to be within our awareness. This prevents us from experiencing what is here and now, as our mind distracts us with how it wishes to arrange what is to it's liking. Belief, either for or against anything, always brings us further away from Truth. I have been witness to many physical deaths, but never the ending of consciousness, just it's departing from the physical body.
