This Life is Now....

The doorway to the fulfillment of all your desires is now. There is nothing more. I am here....perceiving and knowing... without words...without concepts...everything this world has to give.

Stillness is my existence..

All the activity that I perceive is observed through a field of deep stillness. I move through the varied sensations, thoughts and emotions that arise allowing them to fully share their messages with my conscious awareness. Nothing can tempt me back into the normal daily unconsciousness that is the common human condition. I am eternally free. The burdens of life may eventially wear on my body and my mind but I am not those things. When they finnally disintegrate I will be watching, loving and allowing. I will still be free.

How to release suffering:
  1.  In order to release anything first we must fully possess it.
  2.  To fully possess something we must first give it our full attention where it exists now.
  3.  In order to give something our full attention we must first take our attention away from everything else.
  4.  To take our attention away from everything else includes dropping our thoughts about it, our need or desire to release it and everything that is past or future.
  5.  Dropping our thoughts about it and our need to release it we are able to allow it to be there simply as it is now without all the illusions we have built around it to make it strong.
  6.  Finally we actually see, feel, hear and taste, what it actually is and realize how silly it is to keep denying what already exists.
  7.  Paying attention to anything in this way evolves our consciousness to a deeper awareness that transforms everything we perceive.
  8.  Having been graced with our full attention the form is finally set free and we move on in this perfect moment called now.

Resisting Negativity...

As long as you are resisting an enemy (negative thoughts) you perpetuate that enemy's existence. No positive action comes from anger or fear. The thought that you can vanquish negative thoughts by resisting them or fighting them in some way is mistaken. The only way to eliminate negative thoughts is through Conscious awareness of what is. Through this conscious awareness and acceptance emerges Unconditional Love and Compassion which transcends all thought. Do not fall under the misunderstanding that I advocate just existing and doing nothing. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I advocate moving from the reality of where you are in this moment to where you want to be through conscious awareness and acceptance of this moment as what is. This is the only way one becomes aware enough to know when and where to take the next step. Without true Unconditional love and Compassion, which only emerges in the now, there is no way to know how your words effect others, there is only imaginary shadows of your past experience projected onto others.

We Are One            When you come to the awareness of Spirit you come to the full awareness of all that is; not in a scientific, intellectual or mechanical sense but on the level of being. Everyone has the ability to access the awareness of spirit at any time, no matter what their experience with spiritual or religious teachings may be. To see with the awareness of spirit is not an accomplishment to be sought. It requires absolutely no learning, no struggle and no time. It takes no expenditure of energy and no understanding of how to do it. Many come to the awareness of spirit everyday, most just do not recognize it as such and they do not stay within that awareness very long. The awareness of spirit tells us one thing; we are one. All is one; all beings are one and all life and all matter is all the same thing expressing itself in different forms.  That one thing is spirit and spirit is awareness, that indefinable essence within you that causes you to be aware. Spirit is the awareness that informs us all that "I Am"

The awareness of spirit is always available by settling our consciousness within. Instead of projecting our attention outward we keep a part of our attention within, aware of the inner sensations of life moving within the body and even deeper within, the calm stillness that informs us of our own existence. With practice we can keep the awareness of spirit with us all of the time all it takes is remembering to keep a part of our awareness within. Pretty simple but we are not taught to honor our inner self. From our earliest communications with the world we are told to pay attention to others. We are to keep our imaginings to ourselves and are taught that our presentation to others is much more important than honoring our inner life. We are taught that all of our answers must come from what lies outside of ourselves our inner wisdom is treated as secondary and most likely "wrong".  We are taught in so many ways to put our full attention on the outside and our inner self is rarely recognized as holding any information of much worth.

The first realization of spirit is expressed through the words "I Am" capitalized because of the profound significance that emanates from this realization. As we reside within this awareness it becomes apparent that the I Am awareness within each of us is the exact same I Am awareness within all others. Somehow the I Am that I know as my deepest self is simultaneously existing within the deepest center of my existence and that of every other being I come in contact with. The awareness of "We Are One" is the conscious contact with our deepest center of being. When we finally let go of all of our desperate seeking and fearful outward searching and allow ourselves to relax into our own awareness of what is we find that we never have been nor ever can be separate from anything.

During the natural course of development of the human experience we touch upon the awareness of spirit in many small ways, not always aware that we are doing it. We seem to fall in and out of this awareness with no apparent rhyme or reason.  We most often do not recognize what it is or how we come upon it. When the awareness is not noticed for what it is, we just associate it with the events of the moments within which it occurred, adding to the pleasantness of the memory of that time. When we begin to recognize this awareness as significant and separate from our "normal" awareness, we begin to think of it as a momentary epiphany or peak experience. Even then we do not recognize this awareness as separate from events but tend to associate it with what we are doing or thinking about when it occurs. We try to find ways to bring that very powerful experience of awareness back to us, trying to recreate the circumstances in which it occurred or rehashing the thoughts and feelings of that time. Something within us half remembers that within that experience we knew what was required and that it is always available, but we are not there now and have forgotten exactly what that was.

What have we forgotten? We have forgotten to be attentive to now. We have forgotten to allow what is now to be what it is, as if we have some kind of magical power to change it through denial. We have forgotten that we are not truly limited to our world, our thoughts, our emotions, our bodies, our minds, our professions, our performance, our laziness, our goals, dreams, desires, successes and failures. We have forgotten that we have all of these things and are not limited to just one or a few of them at any time. We have forgotten to be attentive to all of the experience that is now, all of it, inside and outside. We have forgotten that our addiction to what we consider good and aversion to what we consider bad are just other ways we try to manipulate what is with the imagined magical power of denial. We have forgotten to relax into our experience of what is, open and allowing, free of it all, yet fully experiencing each moment. That is all that happened when we each experienced our first epiphany and every one since; we just relaxed into acceptance of what is, all of it, without prejudice.

We can not go back to it. We can not conjure it up from the ashes of past experience. We can only relax into acceptance of all that is now. That is why and how we block ourselves from this awareness. There may exist those things now that we do not wish to accept. There are things within us and out in the world we do not want ugly things, painful things and scary things. We mistakenly think to accept them and acknowledge these things will make them more real, give them power over us when exactly the opposite is true. Release is acceptance and acceptance is release. We can accept everything that is because we know that what something is or is not in no way describes who or what I Am. We are not limited to any one deed, idea, thought, action or perception. We are all of them and none of them. They are all just the forms of expression of I Am. The good, the bad, the beautiful and the ugly are all just forms of expression. They can not describe the indescribable. They can not describe any of us because we are all One.
